May I be so bold as to suggest a great day and night out in Balham Boozers on Sunday 14 August. There are two, unique events happening in Balham Pubs, both within the town centre, PLUS a voucher deal at The Regent.

Following breakfast (people are currently raving about Horti-Culture on Bedford Hill), head down to the BBC (Balham Bowls Club) on Ramsden Road for 'The Vintage Event'. The pub is hosting a vintage fusion - the best vintage dealers, selling clothing, accessories and many other treasures from the 1940's - 1980's, with LIVE music from folksy inspirted 'The Travellers', a pop-up Gin & Tea Room, BBQ food, a full bar and gurus 'The Beauty Queens' for vintage hair and make up styling.  Its Free entry and is open between 12-6pm.

There's a 'claim 25% off' food deal at The Regent with this Voucher from HungryLocal.  That will do you for an early dinner.

Then in the evening, head over to The Bedford.  The Busking Project is bringing some of London's finest street performers together on stage for the first time.  You'll have an amaziing night watching totally unique acts, coupled with original short films and special guests.  Doors open at 07:00 PM and tickets cost £8 via wegottickets.com or £10 on the door.  Full details about the event can be found here.

Not a bad Sunday out, eh?

I'm told the Vintage Event at the BBC saw 800 people through the door! Great turnout. How was the Busking Event at The Bedford?
