@anniemole on twitter - who blogs about London Underground - has posted this photo. A London Underground member of staff at Balham Tube has taken the trouble to highlight the meaning of several common Oyster Card failure code meanings.

Balham Oyster Failure Codes
Balham Underground has recently come out badly as a place where overcharges on Oyster cards happen often and don't get reclaimed by passengers. At Balham Station, (National Rail) passengers were overcharged by £318,000. This is largely due to Balham being both an Underground and Overground Station.

Didn't last long though, did it? It was gone by the time I went through the station at about 6:30 last night.
