Dish Dash Balham
Gorgeous grub.
Dish Dash is one of my favourite restaraunts, the food is delicious, the service is great as is the atmosphere. I second the recommendation of the houmous, it is also the best I've ever had and the Mirza is also a must to try, it's a warm aubergine, tomato and lentil dip, I love it and I don't usually like aubergine.

Truly awesome Persian food
Dish Dash in Bedford Hill serves some truly awesome Persian food. There's nothing better than tucking into a starter of delicious naan bread and houmous before moving onto a gloriously rich and satisfying stew. The restaurant has an air of exotic sophistication, making it a great place for an evening meal with someone special.

Best lunch in a long time
I had the pleasure to drop into Dish Dash on a whime one lunchtime a couple of Tuesdays ago. It was quiet but the staff were friendly and quick to seat and serve. The lychee jiuce is wirth the trip on its own, and haloumi, fish kebabs and village bread wonderful. The best thing, though, was the houmous which was the best I've ever tasted - including on various trips to Greece and Turkey.
