I bloomin' love this pub
They don't make 'em like that anymore. This is a great, great pub. You walk in and it feels like pubs used to be - and that''s even with a refurb. It just feels like a pub - the kind of which are dying out. You go up to the bar and the staff have got time to chat to you. I had a long conversation with a lovely lady behind the bar and I'm told that one of their staff is in her 70"s and has been working there for about 30 years. A real Betty (Corrie)! The other week they had morris dancers dancing outside! Fantastic. I believe they do lots in the community too and have regular fund raisers for lots of local charities. Good stuff!
