Don't know about you, but I feel extremely patronised by that expression 'yummy mummy'.  What is a 'yummy mummy' anyway? Is it a mum who is utterly perfect and has super turned out kids, home and one self, inspite of holding down amazing full time jobs!  Does anybody know - for real - if such a person exists?

Why does David Cameron need to 'woo the 'yummy mummies'' as reported in yesterdays Evening Standard.  It is felt that Balham and our surrounding villages are anecdotally known as Nappy Valley.  Full to bursting with women, lugging around children.  All these women reside in the not so safe Labour Constituencies of Battersea and Tooting.  Someone has figured that to turn the area Blue, to target these women could be a good bet.

So ladies, how has your vote been courted?  Have you experienced any politicians doing cartwheels to win you over?  Are you, indeed a yummy mummy?  If so, prove it!
