Balham - Swing capital of London!

Saint Francis Xavier College, adult education, will be starting their Autumn term on Monday 20 September with enrolment on either Monday 6 September or Thursday 9 September.

If you're thinking about getting out of the gym and onto the dance floor, their new sport and wellbeing programme has very much a dance vibe with the likes of: Introduction to 'Lindy Hop', Modern Jive 'Roc La Style', Salsa, T'ai Chi, Tap, Yoga and the new fitness craze, Zumba!  

If it all goes well with the Lindy Hop, you can practice your new skill in Balham on a Friday night, once a month, at the Bedford's 2 o' clock Jump Club!   But here's the rub.  Balham's going Lindy Hop mad.  The Bedford is also offering C Jam. Billed as Swingland's weekly Tuesday night swing dance and music club with classes for beginners through to intermediates followed by freestyle dancing!  On Saturday 7 August, at the Bedford, C Jam is hosting their '10 years gone ...!' party.

The difference between C Jam and SFX college is, C Jam has a turn up and pay policy.  If you buy a block of class vouchers, you get 5 lessons at £8 a pop.  SFX college is offering 10 weeks for £75.
