Just saw this in the local Guardian. A local group that helps children is being told to leave the tooting islamic centre. I don't think it looks too good by kicking out people who help the community and are trying to improve the lives of local children. Really sad.

Would the same criticism be levelled at Wandsworth Council who are considering closing all their Adventure Playgrounds which do so much to help keep young people out of trouble?

Worse still, they are evicting a charity which helps children with special needs.

It is a shame about the charity and the playgrounds. Seems to be too many big bullies around. My children attend the school in the mosque and really benefit from it. They really help the children and want them to succeed. It's sad that the mosque does not see the value that they provide. That mosque always seems to attractive negative comments. I'm really suprised that they would do this knowing how they will be portrayed.
