Christ Church in Balham recently featured on this site and posted the question to Balhamites 'If you could ask God one question .....?'  And coined it 'Balham's Big Survey'.

The results have now been published ahead of two planned debates on Sunday 22 May.  They were rather delighted with the response.  A total of 609 people posted their query, with questions ranging from "where is Balham library?" to "What is the meaning of life?"

Itemised below is a full list of the 'type' of responses by numbers.

Totally pathetic and typical of God-botherers' attitude to everything. It all goes on way above their tiny little heads while the realists amongst us manage existence on their behalf. I really do wish they'd just go away and leave those of us with a tad more sense to get on with life. *sigh*

Oh, this is all so predictable. The answers they will give are pretty obvious. "What is the purpose of life?" - "To worship god". "Why is there so much suffering?" - "God moves in mysterious ways". The rational answers are somewhat different. "What is the purpose of life?" - "There isn't one. "Why is there so much suffering?" - "That's just the way the universe works."
