New Year's Eve in Balham - ring out the old, ring in the new!

Ring out the old and ring in the new year in Balham to say farewell to 2011 and howdy to 2012!

 

To welcome the New Year in style there's no need to head out of Balham for a great New Year's Eve celebration … we have enough fun going on here to last you well into next year!  Here's just a little taster of what's on locally.

 

Balham Bowls Club are saying so long to 2011 in Vegas style.  They are holding a 1980s Las Vegas night. For £40 you get 3 course dinner, entry to the casino, $1000 bbc funny money and a boogie or two in the disco.  £15 gets you entry to the casino, $500 bbc funny money and disco dancing too.

Banana Cabaret at the Bedford Arms are hosting a New Year's Eve Extravaganza with four comedians, buffet dinner and entry to the club after.  Tickets are £55 and once the comedy is over there is dancing until 3am to DJs in the ballroom and theatre.

 

Harrison's Restaurant on Bedford Hill have a mouthwatering New Year's Eve menu for £65 including DJ and dancing until the early hours.  Make mine the Bailey's Crème Brulee for pud!

 

It's a rock 'n' roll NYE at The Exhibit's American Style Diner in Balham.  Think Fonzie, Grease and Hairspray.  It's a fancy dress do of course …

 

Finally, here's a new way to see in the New Year – the Adventure Bar in Fernlea Road, Balham is really going for it with 8 New Year countdowns in one night!  If you think you've got the stamina then  this is what the Adventure has to offer "After opening at 6.30pm, each hour from 8pm will be marked with its own countdown including Moscow, Athens, Paris, Rio De Janeiro and New York with the highlight being London at midnight GMT. Each hour will be celebrated with token New Year's kisses, and the most party poppers you will have ever seen. Really. We will have over 5,000!"
