Balham's Exhibit Restaurant changes direction

Have you seen the new menu at the newly reopened restaurant at the Exhibit?

They have really gone for something completely different and are offering 'The Diner', an all Ameriican ribs, steak and burgers experience. Very Frankie and Bennys but perhpas more for grown ups?  I think it's a daring move and I must admit to feeling really nervous for them.  I so want it to do well because the Exhibit is such a great, unique venue for Balham  but I loved the old restaurant and am not sure what prompted the need for a totally new direction.

I put it out to Balhamites on Twitter to get some instant feedback and what came back was scepticism. @sarahberman replied 'I shall have to have a look and see ... but am dubious.  I loved it how it was before!'  @SophieLeBrozec wrote 'Disappointed :-( Loved it the way it was.  Oh well, there's stil lthe cinema."  @Amberley123 actually went on their opening night and tweeted 'New Restaurant @theexhibit service amazing menu and price very disappointing, just another gbk...' {sic}.

The Exhibit itself admitted to being nervous about the opening night and excited to see what everyone thinks.  No doubt in time, you lot will let them know in your own sweet way.  Anyway.  Not everyone is being negative.  @aj***** wrote 'it  could be very good - and it could not be worse than what they did to Pizza Express so ...:).
